Truck Got Stuck – Learn-to-Read Hardcover Children's Book

Thirty years a teacher of levels K to 5; 55 years husband of a kindergarten teacher; father of 2 children: able to identify quality children's literature. 'Truck got Stuck' is on my list. This book also belongs on the list of required reading for adults learning English as a new language, and those relearning to read after a stroke or such difficulty. This book's attributes are fully revealed by other reviewers. As well, there is a stark absence of cutsy-ness, of forced genderism, of pandering to social correctness. The vehicles closely resemble real trucks; they are not cartoons. The author/illustrator treats her readers, all of us, as the street-wise individuals that we are. Urban and rural folk will all find equal delight in this book's colourful dilemmas facing the assorted drivers. Purchasing one copy will not be enough; you will want others to have 'Truck Got Stuck' also. A 78 Yr old raised on books and Dinky Toys.

Currently my sons favourite book. He loves to participate and was helping to read it when he was two. He is now three and has almost the whole story memorized. Looking forward to buying more books

The first book we received in our family collection of author Jenny Lee Learns’ books. Amazing read for our girls. They could relate to the story and they love the format of having their own pages to read. We have read it a million times now I’m sure! Still a favourite.

We loved sitting and reading this book over and over and over again! A great read for kids of all ages.

I bought this for our granddaughter who loved it and has now passed it to our grandson. He loves tractors and trucks. The storyline is wonderful, the illustrations are bright and colourful, and he loves that the gramma saves the day!!
